As a lifelong lover of nature, and Art, I embrace both of those loves to propel my creative
pursuits. My joy is in discovering new techniques and materials to bring my ideas to
life. Encaustic art, jewelry creation, crafting Christmas ornaments from reclaimed materials are a few of my current projects. Rescuing old furniture is another endeavor that has become a passion for using paint, wax, molded embellishments, gilding, glazes, and transfers. Furniture is transformed from unloved to signature pieces that are ready for a new lease on life. Teaching classes has added another element of fun to my life. My classes allow students to try new art processes with materials provided and hands-on experience and guidance.
